what do these movies have in common? not much except that they're all on the same polaroid brand vhs tape, which was stacked, along with dozens of others like it, in the entertainment center and got watched out of boredom by me, over and over again after school.

the parents never would pay up for premium channels. we'd have a pack of cheap vhs tapes bought bulk from the new sam's club in town, though, just waiting for Free HBO Weekends. then we'd milk it. recorded on the lowest speed (and quality) to cram as much free movie onto tape as possible. of course, after a few hundred watchings, the cheap tape would stretch and you'd know it's not gonna clear up until the guys make it to mexico and sing "my little buttercup."

i see tons of these in fleamarkets around. lots of weird combinations. every time i laugh and say, "you should bring a notebook and write this shit down when you see it." then i say, "fuck that, you dumbass."

so i'll just start this thread.
