Me and my gurlf have by odd stroke of fate had, previous to our year and-a-half-long-and-entirely-faithful-though-not-without-its-ups-and- downs relationship, both had threesomes involving the same person. It s the person who introduced us.

I think because it has become so in and glamorous now (innuendo to sell any product) me and a lot of my girlfriends get fed up with the whole idea. It's like, I turned 13 and then every day since then some damn boy in the school was suddenly like 'oh lesbians, baby, threesomes blah blah!' and you have this whole porn fantasy to live up to. Of course, the actual lesbian couple in my school is made fun of because they have a more ani difranco rather than centerfold look look. It's like the guy just thinks you'll do whatever with a girl, because that's cool, "you said yourself females have more attractive bodies than males!". Boys who have propositioned get weirded out when you switch the scenario and change it to two males one females. Either it means they'll have to do something with that guy (gasp!) or they'll have to watch some guy doing his girlfriend. I guess what frustrates me is that (in my experience) the guys assume it is 'more natural' for a heterosexual female to fool around with another girl. Maybe this is just because they are teenage boys and have to grow into that whole artsy Paris menage a trois ideal.

I've done it, a couple of times. FFM and FFFM (I was the M). Fab. Everything was fine both times after the fact, too. On the other hand, I've heard of miserable backfiring cases. I think the secret is that it has to be not a big deal--if you're trying to get big emotional stuff out of your system, it's exponentially more emotionally messy than two- person sex.
