On Thursday, me and 24 other ragamuffins of a similarly irresponsible age (19-20) will be jetsetting to this city via Hull.
Hull I am especially excited about, what what can you tell me about this Amsterdam place? I have never been despite holidaying in Holland before (I wanted to go to Duinrell in Wassenaar instead, c'mon, I was 14) and being born in Germany not far from the Dutch border, so I have a vague idea of what it will be like, based on how completely crazy Wassenaar seemed to be. It will be for a weekend, 2 different youth hostels, with the ferry taking up half the weekend, so I'm guessing it's quality over quantity here!
I would also like to know some Dutch of a higher level than "Hoi mensen!" "Goedenavond" "Daag" and "Ik ben veel gek".

Plus, me and friends are part of the University Dutch Society and all have at least a educational link with the language if not a biological one. It's not as if we're gonna bumble around screaming to know where the MacDonalds is (Well, not while sober anyway)
