So The Sun weighs in...

INTERNET giant Google was blasted yesterday after its Street View service included detailed pictures of the SAS HQ.
The entrance to Credenhill, Herefordshire, has never appeared on maps for security reasons.
But on Street View it is even marked as "British SAS" and has a detailed 180-degree view of the perimeter boundary.

And to show how outraged they are prints photo of the bit that's (now) been removed.

Ned Trifle II, Monday, 22 March 2010 08:34 (fifteen years ago)

max bro'd (nakhchivan), Tuesday, 4 January 2011 19:01 (fifteen years ago)

maybe it's just A boathouse at Hereford - was pointed out by my England-rower-squad then-ladyfriend so perhaps it's just a place where muscled spandex warriors commune to rub thighs

Aldo, thought you would appreciate this guy from the USA, he hasn't driven in the UK before, but thinks this is a reasonable itinerary for Day 1. Presumably he's put LHR to Ross into Google maps and seen it's just over two hours and therefore NBD.
