my friend trained his black lab to go to the fridge and bring back a bottle of beer (there's a rag tied on the door handle so he can get it open with his mouth). he's a pretty rad dog.

There is this cat in my neighborhood that follows you down the block, meowing after you. She wears a harness, so we call her Captain Harness.

Claude and Claudia, a mating pair of Northern Cardinals that have lived in and around our back yard for five years now.

Lauren's dog pic looks like my leading candidate for favorite animal that's not my own. He's my best friend's pet, named Deuce for his actions prior to his potty-training.

I've only met him once though. It was quite the first impression.

dog in pic is peter jennings. if you say, "high five," he obligingly puts up a paw. i luv him.

Deuce was sprayed by a skunk last week and is now currently being held on a short leash (literally.)
