can someone recommend a good uk-based book that goes through the whole process of starting up a small business, including things like tax, copyrighting, accounting, etc.

don't they have something like a "Complete Idiot's Guide" or a "For Dummies" series in the UK? Or maybe try poking around on Amazon, or asking at a bookstore even?

yeah the for dummies books are usually pretty good, but there's at least 4 small business books in that series. i know there are a few people on here who run their own business, shops, etc, just wondering if anyone had checked out a few of these types of books and could recommend the best one
