if you were a contestant on Jeopardy!, what would be your little personal anecdote for Alex to ask you about?

I was just thinking the other day that if I were on Jeopardy!, I'd just say that I was a copy editor and omit that I work for an encyclopedia publisher, since that would probably raise expectations.

mine would probably go like

Alex Trebek: "Iiiijjjj, I understand you were almost bitten by a rattlesnake once."

Iiiijjjj: "That's right, Alex. I was interning for the City of San Diego a couple of years ago, helping to log an inventory of open space park trails by hiking them with a GPS device, and the ranger and I accidentally meandered off the trail and into some brush, and when we stopped to try and figure out where the trail had gone, I looked down and there was a rattlesnake by my foot and I wanted to crush its head with a rock but the ranger said that wouldn't be a good idea. Later that day we found a bee hive and some bloody panties in a canyon."

Alex Trebek: "That is an interesting anecdote!"

I actually have to come up with 5 of these in sometime in the next two weeks. I took the online test in January and got email a couple weeks ago saying that I passed that and get to go to the in-person test/audition. I have no idea what I'm going to put.

I'm about to do it as well. Am slightly drunk from watching soccer earlier though, so we'll see how it goes.

I'm taking it tomorrow night. I got as far as the in-person round two years ago but was not called to be on the show, so I'm gonna keep trying.

Yikes, that felt a lot tougher than the 2008 test.
