According to a legend the first words ever uttered by a man were "Madam, I'm Adam." However, the truthfulness of this story is highly questionable. If Adam was indeed the first man, and there were no other human beings around, he would have no need to come up with a word like "madam" referring to a female, because he wouldn't have even known about such a thing as women. Therefore it is very unlikely "madam" was his first word to Eve.

In Joan Osborne's song "One of Us" he asks us to imagine what it would be like, "if God was one of us", i.e. an ordinary human being. However, such a hypothesis makes no sense. If God was indeed one of us, that is, an ordinary human being, by definition he wouldn't be God anymore. If, on the other hand, Osborne is talking about a situation where God takes a human form to walk among us, then he wouldn't really be "one of us", just a god in disguise. If God would indeed exist, he could in no meaningful way be "one of us".
