Which As Seen on TV type products do you actually kind of want?
Right now I really want to know if this thing actually works:

this isn't "seen on tv" but every national geographic i've received for months now has this ad for this amish heating system which i'm curious about.

i actually ordered something from asotv. my father kept saying how cool the flip 'n grip (a spatula with a hinged top) looked, so i got for him for his bday a few years ago. it came with a complimentary scoop 'n strain for pasta.

― mizzell, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 19:37 (eighteen years ago)
x post - If they were $2 rather than 20 I'd order them, apply to my face and let your mom know.
My husband saw this in CVS recently and made me take a picture because he thought the name was so ridiculous: Urine Gone.

The RJV10KIT Rejuvenique® Mask
http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c287/expatrica/creepyskinmask.jpg
The facial has 26 contact areas that receive a mild impulse from the custom control unit. These impulses help create a gradual reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles resulting in a face that looks and feels more youthful with that healthy rosy glow.
This creepy thing is on sale and can be yours for just $39.99.
I like the rose laying next to it in the picture. It's a nice touch.
― ENBB, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 19:46 (eighteen years ago)

i bought this at target and it kind of sucks. i had high hopes of all new feet. http://www.taylorgifts.com/images/p32996b.jpg
― La Lechera, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 20:46 (eighteen years ago)
:-( That sucks. It looks like it would have been very gratifying to take apart and see all the dead skin!
The only thing that will give all new feet are the old school razor things that are illegal in most salons now. I have one at home and the place near my work breaks them out for an extra couple bucks and then slices away.
― ENBB, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 20:50 (eighteen years ago)
i scraped and scraped and scraped and only came up with a little bit of skin dust in the egg. maybe my feet aren't as gross as i think they are, but i swear that this thing probably just sucks.
― La Lechera, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 20:54 (eighteen years ago)
I don't think ever more than one on each disk, but some appear multiple times throughout the set. Also each disk has bonus sets by comedians like RICHARD PRYOR and STEVE MARTIN.

Guys, I just got a Slap Chop. You know what? It's awesome.

― Kringelbert Fishtybuns of Steel (ENBB), Thursday, 23 April 2009 04:53 (seventeen years ago)
eh, i used to work in a call centre selling this type of thing, and less savoury items besides. we got a used fleshlight sent back to us once. Grim.

Those gratey foot eggs work, but not as well as you'd think - well we tried one and tons of gross skin came off but the heels were still all flaky and crap!
― one art, please (Trayce), Thursday, 23 April 2009 05:12 (seventeen years ago)
My dad has bought so many ASOTV exercise bits over the years. All collecting dust in the sunroom or garage. And he's a salesman you'd think he'd not be fooled so easily.
