Please HELP recommend an amount of alcohol for my party.

4 cases of beer (120 bottles)
8 750ml bottles of champagne (6 liters)
10 750 ml bottles of wine (7.5 liters) - 6 white, 4 red

i'd adjust that red:white radio, and I don't think you'd need so much champagne.

red/white ratio depends on men/women ratio, imo. more girls=more white; more boys=more red.

Is it possible to buy beers like Blue Moon or Stella by the case?

If so where in the NYC area?

I just refuse to drink stuff like Budweiser.

1 can Country Time Lemonade Mix
4 Cans Red Bull

Yeah, could be the one time I made it I drank a whole lot and the smarter people refrained. But you have to be careful about overbuying cause no way do you want leftovers of that swill.

I probably underestimated it actually. We don't have grain alcohol here. I was figuring along the lines of 1.75 litres of vodka. But I guess grain alcohol is probably twice as strong. So maybe just double the amount :)

party shd be byob, at least roughly; if yr worried about supplying fancy stuff then let ppl know that youll be doing that (w/ a couple cases of cheap beer thrown in) but dont expect to supply 30-40 ppl with booze for a night.

most likely, yr guests are going to be there for company + more-or-less free drugs; quality isnt remotely vital & becomes less & less so the longer the night goes on

It's so much better to have more alcohol than not enough. Get a few kegs of imported beer if you have the money. Or you could just go frat party style (it'll be so ironic!) and whip up a cooler full of jungle juice.

The keg thing is probably best if you don't want fighting and puking in your house though.

I'm actually going to try to stick to Tomboto's recommendation except making sure to buy really cheap (but good) shit.

And as far as beer I'm going to rely mostly on help from other people.
