I found a hen dead in the coop yesterday. It looks like she died in her sleep then fell backward off her perch. She was only 2 yrs old and did not seem unhealthy the day before. The only outward sign of trouble was a poopy butt. Now I notice two other hens hens who, although very health otherwise, have poopy butts. What could cause this? Can I treat the rest of the flock?
