For me it has to be MC Desmo with his cat live from Perth.

Dylan's programme is wonderful, but perhaps it's kind of unfair to the rest to put him on the same list. It's not a BBC show anyway, hence unavailable online I think.

Russell Davies can have my vote, as no-one else will vote for him: tremendous urbanity, maturity, wryness, knowledge, taste; an education.

Carrington is a treasure, for sure.

first they came for the disgraced radio 2 presenter service station plaques and I did nothing

eerily, the plaque celebrated its tenth anniversary just a couple of weeks ago

The bridge, which links the northbound and southbound sides of the M3 services between Junction 4A and 5, was named in 2016 after radio presenter Scott Mills following a BBC Radio 1 campaign led by his then co-host Chris Stark.

At the time, Stark set listeners the challenge of getting as many things as possible named after Scott, from streets to buildings, with the bridge at Fleet Services being the only one that actually went ahead.

This week marks its 10th anniversary.

Scott himself posted about it on Instagram, saying he couldn’t make it in person this year, so instead a life-size cardboard cutout of him has been put on the bridge.

The original plaque was unveiled by Welcome Break CEO Rod McKie and Chris Stark, complete with balloons and a velvet curtain.

The bridge has even had its own moment in the spotlight. During a major fire at Fleet Services in 2016, when more than 100 firefighters were called to tackle a blaze that tore through part of the site, people were messaging to ask whether the Scott Mills Bridge had survived.

Scott Mills tweeted at the time that the Fleet fire crew were “amazing”, adding he was “glad nobody hurt and the bridge will be ok”.
