Dom Passantino, Monday, 14 April 2008 10:36 (seventeen years ago)

Used to have an English teacher who looked like Gary Olsen. He made the papers a few years back after his pregnant wife was killed in a hit and run by an asylum seeker, the Express and Mail ran with it as a story for a few weeks.

Dom Passantino, Monday, 14 April 2008 10:37 (seventeen years ago)

That mong guy that's shit, Monday, 14 April 2008 11:30 (seventeen years ago)

banriquit, Monday, 14 April 2008 11:32 (seventeen years ago)

was Belinda Lang hot? i never decided

blueski, Monday, 14 April 2008 11:33 (seventeen years ago)

In the 2point4 Children novels they make her out to be hella hot, except in the ones written by Reece Shearsmith in which she has a lesbian affair for no reason and are THE WORST THINGS I'VE EVER READ IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE.

Matt DC, Monday, 14 April 2008 11:35 (seventeen years ago)

novels!?

banriquit, Monday, 14 April 2008 11:39 (seventeen years ago)

yeah, they're clearly novellas

blueski, Monday, 14 April 2008 11:46 (seventeen years ago)

were they based on the series or vice versa?

banriquit, Monday, 14 April 2008 11:51 (seventeen years ago)

For some reason I am compelled to ask not why you found yourself reading more than one of these but whether it was with the neighbour/fellow caterer woman.

Herman G. Neuname, Monday, 14 April 2008 12:37 (seventeen years ago)

There aren't (to my knowledge) actually any 2point4children novels, I was parodying Dan Perry on Doctor Who threads. Apologies if this is an enormous disappointment to anyone.

Matt DC, Monday, 14 April 2008 12:37 (seventeen years ago)

we could've kept this going dammit

what steve said

Herman G. Neuname, Monday, 14 April 2008 12:41 (seventeen years ago)

Er, yes, all became clear as soon as I hit send. I am enormously disappointed and off to write my own series of them.

(I had the Drop the Dead Donkey book and probably some Red Dwarf ones too, so maybe that's why no amount of sitcom tie-in barrelscraping would surprise me.)
