we know them well for juice, water, and sugary soft drinks. But the other day I bought my first sixer of beer in plastic bottles. Can't recall the brand, some belgian pilsner - I drank a couple and it was pretty decent. One nice thing was that although the bottles had the same exterior dimensions as the ones I'm used to, the thinness of the material meant that instead of 12 oz. per, I got slightly over a pint from each one!
I think I could get used to this, especially since I hate broken glass on the ground.

you see these at festivals a lot.

I've never seen these! And god knows it's not like anything is holding Budweiser back, they already do those retarded aluminum things. (Which I might find less retarded if the bar on Saturday hadn't charged $7 apiece for them.)

Miller has been doing this since 1999.

If you say so. I don't see 'em at supermarkets or bars around here, though. Probably another deal specifically marketed for sports venues or festivals, like Jordan says.

They would get warm so quickly. !!!!

I have a foolproof method of preventing that.

Sing along with me...
What the world needs now Is more plastic It's the only thing that there's just Too little of.

Which is handy, because the "drink them quickly" plan really ups the chances of turning into a fool

Very common in Eastern Europe - massive two litre jobbies for like 50p.

No, I checked last night but forgot again. It starts with an M. The bottle looks just like that, but green.

Ah - those two were the first, didn't know there were others too.

What is your 'keeping them cold ones cold' trick, Mr. Rags?
― Abbott, Tuesday, 15 April 2008 17:07 (seventeen years ago)
nabisco got it - slug 'em back quick before they warm up!

I can't even drink a coca-cola quickly.
That's where having a bmi of 77 comes in handy.
― Oilyrags, Tuesday, 15 April 2008 17:15 (seventeen years ago)
No, I am just slow at consuming things. It takes me like 45 minutes to eat half a 6" hoagie.

Ever see that clip of the giant-mouthed angler-fish jumping out of the sandy sea floor and swallowing its prey whole?
