The Best Scrubs character poll is no place for crosswords, Roberto.

Dom Passantino, Wednesday, 16 April 2008 23:22 (seventeen years ago)

i laugh every laugh with these people, and cry every tear. i consider every one of them family, even the lawyer dude from that one Seinfeld episode. the least you could do show a little goddman respect.

Roberto Spiralli, Wednesday, 16 April 2008 23:23 (seventeen years ago)

I liked the one where one of the female characters said something, and then one of the male characters danced to a 1980s pop song in flashback. That's my favourite episode.

Dom Passantino, Wednesday, 16 April 2008 23:25 (seventeen years ago)

top 3 at least.

btw i voted older doctor. what will he say next?!!!!

Roberto Spiralli, Wednesday, 16 April 2008 23:26 (seventeen years ago)

It's time for SCRUBS QUOTES!

Jordan: No no, shhhh, purses don't talk.
Janitor: They do where I come from.

Dom Passantino, Wednesday, 16 April 2008 23:29 (seventeen years ago)

J.D. (voiceover) And then you have to find a surgeon who's willing to do the operation pro bono.
The Todd: I've had a pro-bono all morning! Something-might-be-wrong-five!
(High-fives Turk)

deeznuts, Wednesday, 16 April 2008 23:31 (seventeen years ago)

One of my best friends has every episode on DVD, Turk is awesome, and Cox's rantings. But Janitor does win, everytime.
Anyone remember "Bacon Back!!! Classic!"

Roberto Spiralli, Wednesday, 16 April 2008 23:35 (seventeen years ago)

a buddy and I insist on high fiving everything, just like Todd. Definitely one of the most entertaining shows of all time in my book.

omar little, Wednesday, 16 April 2008 23:35 (seventeen years ago)

This show is the sole reason I turn on the TV anymore.

That and Jeopardy.

This show is so great, because you care about what happens to the characters, but even while being dramatic and sad it's uproariously funny. And all along, it's completely aware of how ridiculously silly it is.

Dom Passantino, Wednesday, 16 April 2008 23:38 (seventeen years ago)

Dr.Cox is not a jerk. He subscribes to the "tough love" philosophy but he's not out to make people cry for the sake of making people cry. (It's what I tell myself so that I can maintain my boy-crush on him and such...)

Black people can be Latinos! Race v. culture!

Older doctor or janitor, can't decide.

Lately I just love watching Turk hanging out outside of work and going "Threadless shirt! Threadless shirt!" and all because Zach Braff had Threadless do a contest for "The Last Kiss." They should do a "Scrubs loves Threadless" contest. I wonder if Zach Braff is even aware of XKCD....hmmm I mean Neil Fucking (in the holy shit I'm impressed sense of the word) Gaimanreads it. Why NOT Zach Braff? Also I think that "Garden State loves threadless" would have made more sense, but I guess Threadless wasn't around in ought 4.

I would let medical science melt my dick with some kind-of heat beam if it would somehow lead to this show being taken out of syndication.

scrubs is an A+ show for burning half an hour/hour since it's syndicated on like 8 diff networks here. i don't actively watch it all that often anymore though

J0rdan S., Thursday, 17 April 2008 20:48 (seventeen years ago)

The dude who plays Dr Cox is the same in every movie / tv show he's in

Catsupppppppppppppp dude 茄蕃, Tuesday, 22 April 2008 23:50 (seventeen years ago)

What I'm amazed at is that he is the same in every moment of every movie/tv show he's in. That's what I noticed most about Scrubs in general when I was dating someone who loved the show -- that everyone has their 10-second soundbite and very consistently does their one thing. That may be how it is with all sitcoms.

Eazy, Tuesday, 22 April 2008 23:57 (seventeen years ago)

(^^^ wrong. see all his bit parts in Oliver Stone movies)

Shakey Mo Collier, Tuesday, 22 April 2008 23:58 (seventeen years ago)

he was pretty different in Office Space, too. but yeah he does a lot of similiar roles (supposedly the Scrubs character was written as a "John C. McGinley type" before they ever thought of trying to cast him).

fatal error for this poll not to label the blonde doctor as "blonde doctor" since that's what she actually gets called in the show.

Alex in Baltimore, Wednesday, 23 April 2008 23:21 (seventeen years ago)

Ari Gold is kind of 80% Dr. Cox.

Eazy, Wednesday, 23 April 2008 23:32 (seventeen years ago)

There's this great episode with Keri Russell in it
