Doctor Who : Best Episode In Jon Pertwee's 2nd Season

Only seen Deamons and Claws of Axos. Deamons is better.

HAving got Inferno totally wrong, I'm hesitant to make the same claims about The Daemons here (even if it is the right answer).

I could probably make a case for any of these except Colony.

I love the novelization for "The Claws of Axos".

Roger Delgado is kinda fun. I'm only now watching "Terror..." and he seems to better embody the Master as Moriarty/Belloq rather that Ainley's more simpering version or John Simm's complete nutter.

We'll leave Eric Roberts out of this.

Christ, the Master is in ALL these stories?! I recognize the need for a strong antagonist, but even Doyle didn't use Moriarty in every single adventure.

And Roger Delgado is a lot of fun, but still!

Yes, the whole season was Master stories, with (I think) the original intent being to kill him off at the end.

Y'know, the Brigadier really was a great foil/sidekick/offset to the Doctor, in terms of dramatically contrasting styles

Ok, this just seems excessive. You have a giant talking Residents-looking eyestalk, semi-nekkid sparkly humanoids who occasionally bust out in the Akira-style melanoma, the Master, a slimey MP-type, and a giant space lamprey.

oh man, they didn't even finish the chromakey effects on this one. The close-up shots of the UNIT truck are set against a blank bluish stock background.

oh come ON, both chromakey AND a close-up of an iguana as a threat? "Oh no, a GIANT REPTILE!"
