So my work has blocked Youtube! Is there anything worse than that? BTW this does involve a conspiracy.

they blocked myspace, facebook, and youtube at my work a while ago. they unblocked youtube at some point though and didn't tell anyone (thank god because I needed to do something with it for a contract job I took on at the same time). they also prohibit itunes file sharing. this is all because these things drag down our consumer-grade bandwidth.

they did this at my work (well not wikipedia; they did block 'dictionary' sites at one point, I think because they thought they were something else) for a long time but relented during election season, it seems, or just decided to get over it. you can install tor and try that if you feel like attempting to bypass things (only do this if you can get away with it and have admin access to your workstation). it's slow but it works, usually.
