I have a friend younger than me who does this - she's been on the internet for years and should freaking know better. I just junk all her emails, so if she ever sends me somehting important, she's a bit stuffed.

My father-in-law used to trash my inbox with shit until I fucking told him to stop.

This is resonating with me thanks to my mum's partner using her email account to send me annoying quantities of forwarded 'hilarious' emails.

A colleague of mine from my previous job still sends me forwarded junk - and apparently forwards them to everyone on her contact list. Why would anyone do this?! I felt bad at first about junking her mail just in case she wants to keep in touch (we got along well when I was working there) but then it just got too annoying.
