I know I'm not dying or anything but I've got a few weeks until this check clears and am looking for more perceived variety, any suggestions?

Get brown rice next time, it's better for you.

Do you live somewhere it is spring and you can forage for greens and stuff?

You could make more of a porridge, like congee, with the rice, and have it for breakfast with the sugar and spices. That'd be good.
Also, if you can get an onion, sautee it in the butter, add cooked rice, a little curry powder, and a few beans and you'll get an Indian thing happening.

If there are dandelions coming up, pick some of the smallest leaves. They are bitter and tasty. Rinse and eat raw or steam or saute and mix with beans/rice. Look for decorative winter cabbage/kale and take some of the larger, darker leaves - they are better steamed and then sauted.
Go to a pizza place and appropriate a few packets of crushed red chilis and maybe some sprinkle cheese. Find out when a higher-end market does its weekend sampling and stop in for some variety.

I would wash them shits with SOAP, not just rinse.

Yeah, you have worked through all the viable permutations of yr ingredients, except making penuche from the butter and brown sugar.

Assuming those are dry kidney beans, you'd probably get the most flavor out of them by soaking over night, change the water, then bring to a boil, and let them simmer with the curry powder and maybe a dash of the other spices until soft. When almost done, throw in the rice, salt, and a pat of butter, and let cook for another 30-45 minutes, until the rice is done.

If you are craving variety after some time, some places will give away unclaimed takeout orders right before closing at severely reduced prices. Never hurts to try, but good luck.

Congee is a good idea, as is penuche, especially since my diet before the past week or two always involved some simple sugar candy treats and I've been craving it.
I wanted to get the brown rice, but it was only in much more expensive per ounce boxes, whereas the white was in a convenient 4.7 cents per ounce 5 lb bag.
Restaurant condiment pilfering is also an excellent idea, on my agenda.

Are you able to grow any herbs? Its a good time of year for it up your way, and I'm pretty sure packets of seeds or seedlings are pretty cheap; grow a pot or 3 on yr windowsill and you'll have flavours all summer without much cost. Still the outlay of a little soil and a pot but you could swipe both from someone's yard maybe (with their permission obv).
