the scene that gets me every time (i'm talking waterworks) is when becky meets the mom. o gosh, and the whole family's having the party outside. u really almost feel like you're THERE, at the party. and the mom, she's just so sad.

and then of course there's the scene where becky asks gilbert what he wants, and he says he wants to be a good person.

not to mention the scene at the fucking jail, omg
