Probably worth pointing out to anyone who has never been to Manchester that it's not really like this at all. The Greater Manchester conurbation is home to over 2.5 million people and according to the article above there were four fatal shootings in 2005/06, so it's hardly the Wild West.

Bothwell is now an affluent commuter town. The village has attracted a number of local celebrities including a number of Old Firm footballers. Thanks to a steady rise in property prices and a thriving "Main Street", Bothwell has earned its reputation as one of Glasgow's most prosperous satellites. In fact, a recent survey published in the Scotsman revealed that Bothwell's Imperial Way, which is home to Celtic manager, Gordon Strachan is the fifth most expensive street in Scotland.

She was often spotted in the local budget supermarket Netto cajoling her charges into buying crudites instead of crisps, and lived in a £40-a-night bed-and-breakfast while the programme, which was due to be broadcast this summer, was made.

Welcome to Wales' newest city. A hub of growth and regeneration, Newport is fast becoming a nerve centre for business, leisure and investment. Being the host city for The 2010 Ryder Cup is a source of huge excitement and an opportunity that Newport is very ready to embrace. Standing at the gateway to the whole of Wales, the city makes a great touring base. The beauty of the Wye Valley, Brecon Beacons and Forest of Dean - as well as Cardiff's urban excitement - are all temptingly close, but don't rush off just yet! Newport and its surroundings have much to offer. The city centre is full of interesting places like the wonderful Victorian Provisions Market, while at The Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre you'll find numerous activities, performances and exhibitions, plus an excellent café bar and crèche. You'll also find performers out on the streets, open air classical concerts and a vibrant rock scene. TJ's is a famous and well loved nightspot that has hosted bands such as Catatonia, Feeder and Manic Street Preachers. Historic attractions include Caerleon, one of the UK's most important Roman sites, and the glorious 17th Century Tredegar House, while the area's extraordinary industrial heritage is perfectly symbolised by the Transporter Bridge, a Grade 1 listed structure in full working order. Firmly in the present is the hugely impressive Newport International Sports Village, which among many assets boasts the Wales National Velodrome and its 250 metre Siberian pine track. You'll also find a 25 metre 8-lane competition swimming pool.
What a pile of shit.

The attraction to Thorn1eigh comes from Thorn1eigh being on the train line, which allows resident's access to Sydney CBD, Hornsby, Pennant Hills and The Central Coast. Two Fishermen Stranded On Island In Bingham County
Bingham County Dispatch tells Local News 8 that two fishermen are stranded on an island in the Snake River.
Bingham County Sheriff Dave Johnson says the call came in to 911 just before 8:30 Saturday night that five men were stranded on a sandbar two miles north of Porterville.
Bingham County Marine Patrol launched a john boat to rescue the men and it took three trips to get everyone to safety. Deputies say the men had built a bon-fire to stay warm while they were waiting.
Sheriff Johnson says the men got stuck because of the low water level.
The Bingham County Sheriff's Office will be releasing more information Monday. Local News 8 will bring you the latest beginning on Local News 8 at 5 p.m.

Hamilton, perhaps the fastest growing city in Montana, is centrally located in the heart of the Bitterroot Valley along US Highway 93 and the Bitterroot River approximately 45 miles south of Missoula and 47 miles north of the Idaho border at Lost Trail Pass.
Hamilton offers the traveler just about all the necessities, if not the amenities, of a large metropolitan city plus easy access to millions of acres of heavily forested public lands and mountains that support almost any form of outdoor recreation that one can imagine.
