Any ideas?

So far: groaned and contemplated trip to shop to buy orange juice or smoothies or something cold and sweet. Or water.

Refreshed numerous internet pages.

Lay face down on bed.

Ronan, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 09:52 (seventeen years ago)

that should read, things to DO

Ronan, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 09:52 (seventeen years ago)

have a shower?

darraghmac, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 09:54 (seventeen years ago)

good idea.

Ronan, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 09:55 (seventeen years ago)

Hottest shower ever, banana, bacon roll.

suzy, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 09:56 (seventeen years ago)

no no - cold showers are better for hangovers, trust me. I know it sounds like a bad idea but hot showers will increase your body temperature which won't do you too many favours.

the next grozart, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 09:59 (seventeen years ago)

Go to hotel pool. Swim for ages. Maybe avoid sauna.

Mark G, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:01 (seventeen years ago)

You lot are very libelously assuming this is a hangover.

Ed, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:02 (seventeen years ago)

He's Irish isn't he?

Tom D., Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:04 (seventeen years ago)

um, only one mention of a hangover so far.

Mark G, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:04 (seventeen years ago)

I did not assume hangover, hence my suggestion.

suzy, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:05 (seventeen years ago)

didn't assume hangover, and i think a cold/lukewarm shower is the way to go.

darraghmac, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:08 (seventeen years ago)

not a hangover...no idea what it is!

Ronan, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:09 (seventeen years ago)

hangover or not, always a bacon roll. and lucozade.

Upt0eleven, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:10 (seventeen years ago)

sweeties and water, hopefully you have something to read.

darraghmac, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:10 (seventeen years ago)

have some toast or ginger biscuits

blueski, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:10 (seventeen years ago)

Watch the most offensive and embarassing porn you can possibly find and charge it back to your employer.

Matt DC, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:11 (seventeen years ago)

Sorry, I just wanted to say something other than "have a vitamin C".

Matt DC, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:11 (seventeen years ago)

What are you doing these days for work, Ronan, just out of interest?

the next grozart, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:12 (seventeen years ago)

have a vitamin c though, that shit's the bomb

darraghmac, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:13 (seventeen years ago)

porn beats vitamin c.

fresh air maybe?

Upt0eleven, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:13 (seventeen years ago)

well, if you're going to go the adult viewing route you should probably try to get some zinc and vitamin d into you.

darraghmac, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:15 (seventeen years ago)

drink Gatorade or anything that'll replenish the electrolytes -it'll make you feel better like instantly

J0hn D., Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:20 (seventeen years ago)

i have a tube of berocca

Ronan, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:21 (seventeen years ago)

Ed, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:21 (seventeen years ago)

Mark G, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:21 (seventeen years ago)

i have a tube of berocca

architecture can't help you now, son

darraghmac, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:21 (seventeen years ago)

berocca is the shit. i still vote for the multivitamin wank though.

Upt0eleven, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:23 (seventeen years ago)

Ugh nothing worse than being massively sick when you're elsewhere in a hotel room :(

Trayce, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:36 (seventeen years ago)

Bacon, Toast with some salty spread on it, Strong Sugary Black Tea, Hotel Porn, Die.

I am assuming hangover, by the way.

King Boy Pato, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:45 (seventeen years ago)

Sleep I think is the most important!

the next grozart, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:52 (seventeen years ago)

Agreed, when yr sick its easiest to just sleep it off, if you have the option.

Trayce, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:53 (seventeen years ago)

(and geez estie he already said it isnt a hangover)

Trayce, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 10:53 (seventeen years ago)

I honestly thought this was a Steven Gerrard story I'd missed.

Michael Jones, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 11:25 (seventeen years ago)

Ronan, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 13:59 (seventeen years ago)

if you can make it outside, go buy a trashy novel in the paperback popular fiction genre of your choice.

s1ocki, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 14:09 (seventeen years ago)

Finish the rest of last night's liquor.

paulhw, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 14:24 (seventeen years ago)

HE'S NOT HUNGOVER.

s1ocki, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 14:26 (seventeen years ago)

i recently spent a night of vomiting -- it went as quickly as it came. i just drank lots of cool fluids, watched t.v., read, and occasionally went outside for fresh air. i hope you feel better!

Ai Lien, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 14:32 (seventeen years ago)

have talked to friends online all day, drank water, and ate two dry pancakes. phoned a few people too.

Ronan, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 14:45 (seventeen years ago)

xanax

Bill Magill, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 14:47 (seventeen years ago)

Ronan, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 15:00 (seventeen years ago)

Ginger ale works on an ailing stomach pretty well too.

Bill Magill, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 15:05 (seventeen years ago)

ronan, surely you've boiled yourself some red lemonade? don't be listening to all these foreign remedies.

darraghmac, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 15:12 (seventeen years ago)

it's been about 48 hours and all I've eaten is dry bread. should I chance an actual meal? I can't tell if I feel better cos I feel sort of insane and jumpy from hunger.

Ronan, Thursday, 1 May 2008 17:23 (seventeen years ago)

i thought all you people drank brandy in situations like this

Tracer Hand, Thursday, 1 May 2008 17:24 (seventeen years ago)

if you're hungry, eat

s1ocki, Thursday, 1 May 2008 17:25 (seventeen years ago)

Kind of sucks that you're in one of the best Indian food cities in England at this juncture, but go have some chicken soup or something.

suzy, Thursday, 1 May 2008 17:27 (seventeen years ago)
