Gregor doesn't actually turn into a bug, I think, he just cracks up. I admit I'm not completely sure of this. Anyone else think differently?

i was also wondering that justyn, but i think he cracked up enough inside to appear to be a bug to others, and he was treated as one by those around him prior to the transformation. well, i think he was anyway, in the way people treat those who allow themselves to be scorned and 'walked upon'.
