Anyone seen this? I am thinking I will enjoy more than Iron Man tonight, but convince me that I am wrong.

The title fairly screams derring-do. But Cairo was a nest of Brits, not the OSS's territory at all.

It's really funny. There are a lot of good bits, but the homoerotic flashbacks are esp. well done. Also the leads total cluelessness/condension about Egypt/Islam is a gigglefest.

It's playing over at the Nuart this week. Planning on seeing it.

Oh god this movie is amazing. I love it to death, must have seen it 20-30 times at least. It's like everytime i get bored i grab my dvd and watch it. Jean Dujardin is a great clueless spy . I dont know if they did a good job translating it to english, but the french version is endlessly quotable. Love the dude who keeps calling his boss "They have reached the hotel". Actually i love everything about this movie. The humor is great, from the poses OSS117 takes to the homoerotic flashbacks to Fujardin's cluelessness to the subtler jokes about René Coty.

I find long stretched of the movie a bit dull, but there are a lot of worthwhile gags in between. Hopefully they can dial up the lulz next time.

It actually gets better when you watch it a second time... and even better when you quote it with friends !when he learns how to count in arab... "ca me sert a rien"

Love both those films, first one is probably my fave comedy. There was talk about a third one, but seeing as the second made only a little bit more money than the second, the plan might be scrapped. Hope they will go ahead with it.
