Seriously. I don't know why, but I've been kind of obsessing over this today. It's like if Bob Saget was only known for having done America's Funniest Home Videos and then had a son who carried on his legacy, and was only famous for having carried on said legacy.

Seriously though, peeps. I didn't intend the above as a critique, per se. I'm just saying that I, personally, am depressed by the career of Peter Funt. Which, admittedly, probably says more about me than it does about Peter Funt. I'm less depressed by almost any theoretical career path he could have picked than I am by the fact that he chose to be the torch-bearer for Candid Camera.

Anyway. Be a proper Captain Save-A-Funt and throw another quasi-celebrity under the bus for me.
