I saw the Sinbad movie as a kid. I don't even remember that he was the lead in D:D bcz it's, you know, BAD.

Friend of mine in LA chatted with him a month ago after a screening of D:D at the Egyptian; she says he was an incredibly gracious and friendly guy and his grandson who was with him was having the time of his life. Good way to bow out, I'd say!
