I like mine strained. What we call a Shaker Mary. I can't stand when the ice melts and makes the tomato juice get all watery.

Can of tomato juice, tabasco and worcestershire to taste, dollop of vodka. Stir and pour over ice and a celery stalk in a rocks glass. grind pepper and sprinkle celery seed on surface.

Consume with migas.

Yeah, I never have them at night, either. What think ye of the kind that come with loads of vegetables in them, pickled green beans and whatnot? A simple lemon wedge is sufficient for me.

Yeah, too much salad in your bloody mary takes up all the space where your drinky drink should be. Sometimes you need that stuff, though for maximum sodium impact.

although i will confess that i will only have a bloody mary with salty / savory breakfast foods; confectionery things like pancakes or waffles etc, i will opt for the mimosa + topper of grand marinier or chambord

It's a Bloody Mary, essentially, with beef bouillon in it.

Horseradish U+K. Also, pickled okra in the south. I guess Martinis, Bloody Marys and Margaritas are my favorite drinks but I can't rank them.

i haven't had one for sooo long. this is because my new brunch place is japanese and does sake mimosas instead. usually this would be a dealbreaker but the food is just so great.
