electricsound, Monday, 2 June 2008 00:56 (sixteen years ago)

And this morning aye. I love the cold!

I do not love havening a cold though. Splurgle. Anyways hi chaps.

Trayce, Monday, 2 June 2008 00:57 (sixteen years ago)

That's right, you people are about to freeze. Kinda.

Ned Raggett, Monday, 2 June 2008 00:57 (sixteen years ago)

FANTASTIC DETAIL IN THREAD TITLE

King Boy Pato, Monday, 2 June 2008 00:57 (sixteen years ago)

the spring one should mention hills hoist

electricsound, Monday, 2 June 2008 00:59 (sixteen years ago)

Apparently not an Australian invention after all - or so I read somewhere.

moley, Monday, 2 June 2008 01:00 (sixteen years ago)

fairlight then

Autumn Almanac, Monday, 2 June 2008 01:01 (sixteen years ago)

I bought a large piece of fish and six potatoes to last me until this afternoon and just ate the lot in five mins

Autumn Almanac, Monday, 2 June 2008 01:03 (sixteen years ago)

Wait - you ate six whole potatoes?

Trayce, Monday, 2 June 2008 01:07 (sixteen years ago)

At this time of the morning?

Trayce, Monday, 2 June 2008 01:07 (sixteen years ago)

mmmm

electricsound, Monday, 2 June 2008 01:08 (sixteen years ago)

so fungry

electricsound, Monday, 2 June 2008 01:08 (sixteen years ago)

xp yeah. Probably a mistake in retrospect.

Autumn Almanac, Monday, 2 June 2008 01:09 (sixteen years ago)

Oh hell I cant talk, I ate almost an entire pack of continental instant mash ("serves 4") on the weekend. It was like glue. Delicious, oniony glue.

Trayce, Monday, 2 June 2008 01:16 (sixteen years ago)

i drank lots of coffee and ate fruit and a tin of beans on the weekend. i seem to have lost weight so it's not all bad

electricsound, Monday, 2 June 2008 01:20 (sixteen years ago)

I lost weight too, which really pissed me off.

Autumn Almanac, Monday, 2 June 2008 01:21 (sixteen years ago)

i went for a jog around my gated community-style 'burb in that fog last night. excellent misty yellow glow around the... you know, the big yellow thing that pokes out over citylink.

haitch, Monday, 2 June 2008 02:13 (sixteen years ago)

What is instant mash?

Abbott, Monday, 2 June 2008 02:14 (sixteen years ago)

xp Jeff's erection

Autumn Almanac, Monday, 2 June 2008 02:16 (sixteen years ago)

SHE ATE THE MASH
she ate the instant mash
THE INSTANT MASH
it was a graveyard SMASH

Abbott, Monday, 2 June 2008 02:17 (sixteen years ago)

(x-x-post0 That would be something like Deb I think?

http://www.unilever.com.au/Images/Continental-Vegetables-rang_tcm72-30409.jpg

It's made by Unilever Food Solutions.

moley, Monday, 2 June 2008 02:23 (sixteen years ago)

ewww deb

electricsound, Monday, 2 June 2008 02:25 (sixteen years ago)

unilever food solutions.. using your body's chemicals, after you die!

electricsound, Monday, 2 June 2008 02:25 (sixteen years ago)

mashed food is terrible. i require a bit of resistance in something i'm eating, damnit!!

haitch, Monday, 2 June 2008 02:28 (sixteen years ago)

'nooooo don't eat me'

Autumn Almanac, Monday, 2 June 2008 02:29 (sixteen years ago)

that'd do

haitch, Monday, 2 June 2008 02:31 (sixteen years ago)

Grill'd burgers have made their way to qld, they pretty much rule so far.

wilter, Monday, 2 June 2008 02:31 (sixteen years ago)

how do they measure up against spamburgers

haitch, Monday, 2 June 2008 02:37 (sixteen years ago)

http://www.dakinesbbq.com/images/spamburger.jpg

haitch, Monday, 2 June 2008 02:38 (sixteen years ago)

ha a lot better.

I mention them bcuz I thought they were like a melbourne thing??

wilter, Monday, 2 June 2008 02:40 (sixteen years ago)

they can't spell 'arse' on the wallpaper

Autumn Almanac, Monday, 2 June 2008 02:41 (sixteen years ago)

whoops, just ate four nori rolls.

Autumn Almanac, Monday, 2 June 2008 02:42 (sixteen years ago)

you were just chomping air and they happened to get in your way

electricsound, Monday, 2 June 2008 02:54 (sixteen years ago)

The Continental instant mash (soz Abb -- instant mashed potatoes, is all!) is better than Deb, but of course thats like saying recycled toilet paper is better than newspaper when consumed in a bowl with hot milk.

Still, I likes it on occasion.

Grill'd burgers are great Mark! I thought they were a Melb thing yeah (maybe sydney too?), it is a shame however that they are ridiculously, stupidly expensive. One burger and chips ends up being over $10 which is just stupid.

Trayce, Monday, 2 June 2008 02:55 (sixteen years ago)

xp nom nom nom nom nom nom nom BLAEURGH nom nom nom nom

Autumn Almanac, Monday, 2 June 2008 02:56 (sixteen years ago)

But their herb mayonnaise for dipping is sooo tasty.

Adam you're going to explode at this rate.

Trayce, Monday, 2 June 2008 02:56 (sixteen years ago)

are they nice chips?

electricsound, Monday, 2 June 2008 02:56 (sixteen years ago)

oh hang on so 'grill'd' is a franchise, now i understand. i thought it was, like, grilled burgers have finally made it to qld, we've never grilled anything up here before!

haitch, Monday, 2 June 2008 03:06 (sixteen years ago)

lol

Yeah it is pretty expensive for what it is.
But those fries, they ensnared me.

wilter, Monday, 2 June 2008 03:10 (sixteen years ago)

All this talk of junk food is making me crave a steak sandwich from the corner store. I might just have to go for it.

moley, Monday, 2 June 2008 03:12 (sixteen years ago)

do it do it do it! i believe i shall have a dim sim or two.

haitch, Monday, 2 June 2008 03:18 (sixteen years ago)

i googled grill'd burgers and then i ate a white chocolate magnum, it was much too cold but i struggled on courageously.

estela, Monday, 2 June 2008 03:21 (sixteen years ago)

i balked at spending $20 on takeout yesterday but for some reason not at $35 on beer and cigarettes

electricsound, Monday, 2 June 2008 03:24 (sixteen years ago)

In America a magnum is an extra large condom.

Autumn Almanac, Monday, 2 June 2008 03:25 (sixteen years ago)

i hope white chocolate is white chocolate.

estela, Monday, 2 June 2008 03:27 (sixteen years ago)

you'd think so, but..

electricsound, Monday, 2 June 2008 03:28 (sixteen years ago)

(not that etc.)

estela, Monday, 2 June 2008 03:29 (sixteen years ago)

Light but drenching fairy drizzle kept me indoors. Instead, it will be italian sausages, fried onions, and a small salad.

moley, Monday, 2 June 2008 03:45 (sixteen years ago)

exactly how small will this salad be

electricsound, Monday, 2 June 2008 03:46 (sixteen years ago)

Autumn Almanac, Friday, 29 August 2008 00:33 (sixteen years ago)

Trayce, Friday, 29 August 2008 04:01 (sixteen years ago)

Wait, not the shoop diddy wop one though. OMG I'd forgotten all about that song. We used to sing it in HS and giggle because he says "cumma cumma wang dang" lolol thats RUUUDE.

Trayce, Friday, 29 August 2008 04:02 (sixteen years ago)

electricsound, Friday, 29 August 2008 04:51 (sixteen years ago)

Yes! with a drum machine. Too late for the show tomorrow at Pint on Punt which you should all attend unfortunately. I will be playing guitar! After a fashion.

S-, Friday, 29 August 2008 05:09 (sixteen years ago)

We should all attend unfortunately? ;P

(what time wz it again? I might might might pop along, seeing as its down t'road)

Trayce, Friday, 29 August 2008 05:16 (sixteen years ago)

i'll be there.. i'm being sent out to have a 'boys night out'

electricsound, Friday, 29 August 2008 05:22 (sixteen years ago)

S-, Friday, 29 August 2008 05:35 (sixteen years ago)

Other member of Teh F0110w found. Move on people, the show is over.

moley, Friday, 29 August 2008 05:37 (sixteen years ago)

Hey Bruc3 Russ3ll playing West space tonight at 8pm!

S-, Friday, 29 August 2008 05:39 (sixteen years ago)

I don't remember no steenking technical difficulties slide. In Melbourne the ads went straight into Cheers, no announcements, nothing.

This is how I remember Sydney too. But then it turns out I remembered completely the wrong prehensile elephant cock, so don't trust my brain.

energy flash gordon, Friday, 29 August 2008 07:37 (sixteen years ago)

I love Viz, and the Doug Mulray Gang as a band, but even I got sick of the overload of animal bits.

S-, Friday, 29 August 2008 07:45 (sixteen years ago)

HAHA HE MENTIONED THE RECESSION

King Boy Pato, Friday, 29 August 2008 08:51 (sixteen years ago)

Excuse me, people down there and all, but is there any reason why these people didn't realize they spell it 'brah' over here in OC, the better to keep their manliness intact?

Ned Raggett, Saturday, 30 August 2008 18:07 (sixteen years ago)

incorrect use of the word 'disinterested' in the synopsis too

Autumn Almanac, Sunday, 31 August 2008 00:44 (sixteen years ago)

Dont NZ kids spell it 'bra'? I dunno tbh.

Whats with this damn weather? Sunny, rainy, sunny, rainy. MAKE UP YR MIND.

Trayce, Sunday, 31 August 2008 03:45 (sixteen years ago)

We're in a bar in Collingwood and every time I go outside it's like a different day.

Autumn Almanac, Sunday, 31 August 2008 03:58 (sixteen years ago)

Presumably Ned, because they are from Maroubra.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ZAZBabPonE

S-, Sunday, 31 August 2008 04:02 (sixteen years ago)

uh, yeah - town founded (well, beach named) circa 1860-1870, locals using word for up to 40,000 years before that (and "Bra Boys" group name in general use since the 1970s and fairly solidly tribal since the 80s) - is Ned saying his local slang predates all of these?

(my beach of choice btw)

energy flash gordon, Sunday, 31 August 2008 22:05 (sixteen years ago)

uh oh time for new thread

Autumn Almanac, Sunday, 31 August 2008 22:07 (sixteen years ago)

Trayce, Sunday, 31 August 2008 23:37 (sixteen years ago)
