Do you (or people you know) ever say you/they are "confused dot com" ... ? A Classic/Dud scenario

Please tell me this has not happened to you

I have kids. They say things like "ON! OFF! ON! OFF!" and "Dutch?"

They have not used the "I'm confused dot com" construct.

But it hurts to hear someone else say "I'm confused" and have my brane insert "dot com" afterwards. I don't actually come out and say it, but.

My 79 year old auntie said this at the weekend! I think she was trying to be hip.

One time at work I told a coworker to "calm down" and I was accused by someone of "stealing my phrases!" But he assured me that it was okay and that he would hand his phrases down to me when he quits.

No, it isn't. I was more saying that they pick up things from myriad sources, so it's just a matter of opening them to a wide range of stimuli, not just "stopping them from watching telly, or at least the 'commercial' channels" as some parents do.
