― Oilyrags, Monday, 9 June 2008 20:28 (seventeen years ago)
maybe
― Surmounter, Monday, 9 June 2008 20:28 (seventeen years ago)
I'm pretty fucked up, you know.
― Oilyrags, Monday, 9 June 2008 20:29 (seventeen years ago)
As fucked up as this? http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e381/notoriousbiggs/gurn.jpg
― chap, Monday, 9 June 2008 20:31 (seventeen years ago)
i know. i have some tricks up my sleeve too tho xp
omg
― Surmounter, Monday, 9 June 2008 20:31 (seventeen years ago)
probably not. i mean, if you have to ask....
― Maria, Monday, 9 June 2008 20:31 (seventeen years ago)
I don't wear it on my face so much, chap. It's more about barely being able to exist outside my own shell.
― Oilyrags, Monday, 9 June 2008 20:33 (seventeen years ago)
Oh, probably.
― Abbott, Monday, 9 June 2008 20:34 (seventeen years ago)
i don't know this is a tough competition around here
― Surmounter, Monday, 9 June 2008 20:59 (seventeen years ago)
ramzi otm
― elmo argonaut, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:00 (seventeen years ago)
I have spent the past few days, and today, feeling wicked fucked up.
― Abbott, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:01 (seventeen years ago)
does "being fucked-up" equal "being a fuck-up"?
(as to myself: yes to the former, no to the latter)
― elmo argonaut, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:02 (seventeen years ago)
otm but still no. xx-post
― strgn, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:02 (seventeen years ago)
or is this just "are you more drunk than me?"
― elmo argonaut, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:03 (seventeen years ago)
I haven't drank, except a glass of wine here & there, for like six weeks.
― Abbott, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:03 (seventeen years ago)
lol
― Surmounter, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:03 (seventeen years ago)
oh good 4 you!
― Surmounter, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:04 (seventeen years ago)
If I quit smoking again, which I feel I should do, I would have no habits to project my semi-self-loathing onto.
― Abbott, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:04 (seventeen years ago)
Oh, you can always find something.
― Maria, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:05 (seventeen years ago)
Bad habits are a symptom, not a cause.

― deej, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:06 (seventeen years ago)
dude I'm so wasted right now
― dan m, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:06 (seventeen years ago)
yeah, that's probably an oversimplification, deej. But I think it holds true for me, at least. I was def. a fucked up dude before my current bad habits started.
― Oilyrags, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:08 (seventeen years ago)
Yeah, if I didn't have that symptom, I'd only have intrinsic ones and those are a little harder to have on your mind all the time, rather than, "Man I am gross, what with all this smoking."
― Abbott, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:09 (seventeen years ago)
exactly.
― Oilyrags, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:11 (seventeen years ago)
yes
― Surmounter, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:12 (seventeen years ago)
Has anyone ever met someone who is like, "Oh don't get to know me, you'll find out how truly, irrevocably fucked up I am and won't want to handle that?"
It's not a very useful introduction.
― Abbott, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:12 (seventeen years ago)
no i'd be a little scared
― Surmounter, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:14 (seventeen years ago)
I usually save that for later, after we've known each other for a while.
― Oilyrags, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:14 (seventeen years ago)
xp
It works pretty well at making you not want to get to know them though!
Have you ever been involved with someone who was like "yeah all my exes were crazy"? It makes you wonder if they're actually crazy....
(xpost)
― Maria, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:15 (seventeen years ago)
Aw, c'mon! Who doesn't want to be friends with a paranoiac with a persecution complex?
― Oilyrags, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:18 (seventeen years ago)
reverts to old ilxese: define fucked up.
but to answer your question: would it make you feel better if i said yes?
― stevienixed, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:19 (seventeen years ago)
I think it's supposed to make you tell them how great they are, they're just misunderstood and you totally want to get to know them better because they're so interesting...but it actually does make me want to just say "oh okay thanks for the warning."
― Maria, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:19 (seventeen years ago)
haha me too
― Surmounter, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:19 (seventeen years ago)
That's not answering the question!
But to answer your question - not sure.
That's probably not answering the question either.
― Oilyrags, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:19 (seventeen years ago)
"Oh don't get to know me, you'll find out how truly, irrevocably fucked up I am and won't want to handle that?"
from girls, definitely. sometimes they're right, sometimes not.
― Jordan, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:20 (seventeen years ago)
this is nothing to do with being fucked up or no...but Oilyrags, I was looking through some records at a store, and there was one by band called "Oily Rags"...two long hairs with cab driver hats...looked english, early 70s...it was in the jazz section but I was thinking it was misfiled...
do you know this band?
― M@tt He1ges0n, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:21 (seventeen years ago)
No, I know nothing at all about that. I thought I was the first to ever think of this as a moniker.
― Oilyrags, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:26 (seventeen years ago)
you have to listen to them now
― Surmounter, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:27 (seventeen years ago)
Sure seems worth a try.
― Oilyrags, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:28 (seventeen years ago)

― Surmounter, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:30 (seventeen years ago)
yeah that's the dudes! the cover was different though and it didn't say chas & dave, but those are the dudes.
― M@tt He1ges0n, Monday, 9 June 2008 21:55 (seventeen years ago)
everybody's crazy, including exes
― mookieproof, Monday, 9 June 2008 22:14 (seventeen years ago)
