Right, I've worked out that if you earn below £55 a year you are the richest person in the world, as soon as you hit £55 you become the 591,211,542,8.6th richest person in the world - must be sumthin' to do with tax

$8 could buy you 15 organic apples OR 25 fruit trees for farmers in Honduras to grow and sell fruit at their local market.
Haha, my first thought when I glanced at this was "Oh, 15 organic apples for $8 sounds like a pretty good deal!"
― Hurting 2, Wednesday, 11 June 2008 12:35 (seventeen years ago)

but surely 15 organic apples have enough seeds to grow 25 fruit trees anyway? you can have your apple and eat it.
― ken c, Wednesday, 11 June 2008 14:26 (seventeen years ago)
cant grow reliably edible apples from seed

tbs, i don't know the number of those for whom income is greater than a million - that may be a much lower number than the several million american households with assets over $1 million. but at a certain level (certainly not counting all members of the latter category) assets may be more relevant than income. but anyway, you'll find that numbers substantially under $1 million yield the same result on that tool as number substantially above it, i.e. it's probably useless all around.
― gabbneb, Wednesday, 11 June 2008 18:08 (seventeen years ago)
i'm still confused, bigger number richer dude? which obv says a lot about my iq or the fact i can't be arsed how many pple earn less than me. i'm okay with my life.
