how is there not a thread for KUNG FU PANDA?

I was expecting sub-Beverly Hills Ninja garbage, but posi word from friends got me to see it. I have now seen it two times. You can tell the dudes really love Kung Fu flicks, the whole thing is a legit exciting martial arts movie with serious lolz throughout. Have no idea how it plays as a kid's movie, but it's worth seeing if you're after a roffle.

so great visually. the new one. you'll never find a movie review that discusses/analyses at length the visual elements in the movie because writing about movie visuals is a dead art, but trust me, it's worth seeing for all the color/styles/techniques they use in 90 minutes. plus, it's pretty funny.

scott seward, Saturday, 30 January 2016 17:07 (ten years ago)

I'll buy that.
Might be the only KF we see in the theater. I would like to go back and watch the first one in IMAX tbf

did not see this in 3D and this is one of those rare cases where i kinda regretted not seeing a movie in 3D. but still very cool. they don't really do 3D at our local movie house.

scott seward, Saturday, 30 January 2016 20:13 (ten years ago)

i got some lols from the trailer, i'd like to see the new one. visuals in these movies have always knocked my socks off
