when I was out there last month people seemed to be relatively fit, or at least no less so than in the US. maybe my perspective was slanted from being mostly in cities?

at least in sydney, if yr a woman and over size 8 people wont talk to you unless they absolutely have to and 95% of what women talk about is food and how they cant eat any. must be melbournes fault.

Some of youse need to go out to the great Australian suburbia on a Saturday night and witness the awe-inspiring queue at the local KFC drive thru.

I still don't get how there's KFC there, but hardly any Taco Bell.

could it be because Taco Bell is fucking foul and KFC was quite tasty in the 1970s when it got a hold here?

when I was a child I thought Colonel Sanders lived in the big bucket outside shops which had his face on them. I'd wave and call out to him as we drove past.

This is why I sometimes eat KFC but hate Taco Bell.

KFC went downhill when the Colonel stopped hanging out in the bucket keeping an eye on things

Taco Bell fresco tacos have helped me on the weight watchers.

Aus cities are on the whole largely fat-free. It's when you get to the suburbs that the people get bigger, and holy fuck do they get bigger. It's like swimming with hippos.
