ok i was talking about this yesterday and i was like "moose dies." and then it all makes sense. reggie is sort of the burke (paul reiser from aliens) character who not only sells out riverdale to the predator but actually INVITED HIM THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE so that he would kill moose (he knew moose would take him on) and leave midge alone. of course he got a lot more than he bargained for!
