It seemed to be loading slow before, but I just remade the header image to lower quality/file size. Can't tell if it seems reasonable now.

It's on Bluehost. I uninstalled my old wordpress blog because it would hang badly before loading, and seemed to do that with the new one, but it must have just been the header.

Ah. Did Bluehost once on a "trial" kinda basis, just a month, iirc, and wasn't nuts about it. I have craptastic Dreamhost account now, but it's adequate. What I don't like is WordPress. Call me a dinosaur, but I prefer static pages from Movable Type, plus MT is more customizable with less learnin'.
