Forgot his name, but a friend mentioned the name of the guy who almost single-handedly popularized the pronunciation of "diabetes" as "diabeetus", with his insurance commercials. And then I was like "the Cocoon guy?", and then onto IMDB. TRUE STORY

I imdb'd the cartoon adaptation of Ray Bradbury's The Halloween Tree yesterday, to see if it had been released on DVD yet.

In Bruges. Wanted to find out what other films I had seen Brendan Gleeson in. As well as Clémence Poesy. And then kicked myself for not remembering them from Harry Potter...

Corinne Bohrer
haha, I tried to look her up too, after seeing her in another commercial and realizing that she freakishly NEVER AGES. she's been on shit for like 25 years and looks exactly the same

I looked up the main baddie lady from the pilot episode of the Sarah Jane Adventures, cos she was very familiar. Turned out it was Miss Moneypenny from the Brosnan Bond films.

Some crappy slasher film called Hack! that was on the Horror Channel the other day. My wife wanted to know if the female-fronted pop punk band on the soundtrack was the Checkers. They didn't have the soundtrack listing on IMDB, so I guess we'll just never know the truth :(

Bob Hoskins, thanks to The Dunera Boys: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089059/
I could've sworn I saw Bud Tingwell in the film, but apparently not. Mark 'Joe Mangel' Little was in it though!
