... for filming him with five prostitutes.

I mean, how many people have to be there before something can be considered to be "in public"?

""Everyone knows that the News of the World lives by sexual titillation."

don't we all, don't we all

I presume the reason he hasn't sued one of the women is because he hasn't worked out which one had put the camera down her cleavage.

I'm surprised none of the women have sued for being referred to as "prostitutes", because a lot of pro-dominatrixes get *very* huffy if you accuse them of being prostitutes or sex workers.

To be honest - apart from the German language, it didn't look very Nazi. And Nazi uniforms are a big thing in the fetish scene, largely because they had a good fashion designer on their side. If they'd wanted a Nazi scene, they could easily have provided one.

Of course, Max was never involved in Fascist activities. Never was a member of the British Union of Fascists. No, no he wasn't. Not at all like his Dad. Why would you say he was? He wasn't. Definitely not.

Thanks for this, Bryan Ferry.

Well, that's one explanation.

It's true, though: you get Nazi fetishists. You get generic uniform fetishists. But you don't get other specific uniform fetishists, other than Nazis.

"Had I wanted a Nazi scene, I would have said I wanted one and A would have got some of the inexpensive Nazi stuff from the joke shop."

Max Mosley

Do joke shops generally run a line of inexpensive Nazi regalia? I've not been to a joke shop in a very long time...

Ask Prince Harry.

It's clear to me that England is becoming more Satanic in nature every day, and the people who work for the BBC must take some responsibility for that.

I love how Max is arguing its down to interpretations of his fetish.

World motorsport boss Max Mosley has won a legal action against a Sunday newspaper that claimed he took part in a Nazi-style orgy with prostitutes.

The High Court ruled the News of the World did breach Mr Mosley's privacy, awarding him £60,000 in damages.

... which must be pretty much the amount he is spending on BDSM sessions per year, going by the figures he gave in evidence (£500 to one girl for a session; he had a session with her about twice a month; there were 5 girls in the filmed session).

Forest Pines Mk2, Thursday, 24 July 2008 09:32 (seventeen years ago)

So it'll keep in whores for a year?

Tom D., Thursday, 24 July 2008 09:43 (seventeen years ago)

I so hope his lawyer says this outside the court

Tom D., Thursday, 24 July 2008 09:43 (seventeen years ago)

Straight back home to polish his stormtroopers helmet, I shouldn't wonder.

NickB, Thursday, 24 July 2008 09:59 (seventeen years ago)

dress as a judge and award himself royalties

DG, Thursday, 24 July 2008 10:06 (seventeen years ago)

damages rather, heh

DG, Thursday, 24 July 2008 10:07 (seventeen years ago)

Just think of the fun he could have with a gavel

Tom D., Thursday, 24 July 2008 10:08 (seventeen years ago)

The Claimant, for reasons best known to himself, enjoyed having his bottom shaved – apparently for its own sake rather than because of any supposed Nazi connotation. He explained to me that while this service was being performed he was (no doubt unwisely) “shaking with laughter”. I naturally could not check from the DVD, as it was not his face that was on display.

Ismael Klata, Thursday, 24 July 2008 11:41 (seventeen years ago)

News of the World editor Colin Myler said the paper was pleased at the lack of punitive damages, but added that "our press is less free today after another judgement based on privacy laws emanating from Europe".

It's all Europe's fault! And Muslims!
