Predicting Secretary or Stranger Than Fiction to walk this - both parts where she manages to pull off being a self-actualized subject in control of the situation while also representing a hopeless fantasy of boring dudes everywhere, that a beautiful woman is going to drop into your lap and exactly fulfill your needs. Stranger Than Fiction is particularly egregious for locking on to the notion that gorgeous, independent, "edgy" women actually have nothing better to do than work to break uptight square guys out of their bubble and put up with all their whining along the way. Oh, if only!!
