He should do more.

Not listed: his turn as THUG in the first TMNT.

David R., Monday, 4 August 2008 16:45 (seventeen years ago)

Probably the Barris performance.

Alex in SF, Monday, 4 August 2008 16:45 (seventeen years ago)

goole, Monday, 4 August 2008 16:47 (seventeen years ago)

Confessions seemed kind of like a failed attempt to launch him as a leading man (or at least not a sidekick type), but I think it's still my favorite thing I've seen him do.

some dude, Monday, 4 August 2008 16:47 (seventeen years ago)

this guy is great and should be more famous than he is. i'm deciding between Confessions and Hitchhiker's Guide.

Roz, Monday, 4 August 2008 16:50 (seventeen years ago)

FYI: Safe Men is a stupid-fun "quirky" comedy about safecrackers that stars Rockwell, Steve Zahn, Mark Ruffalo, and Paul Giamatti!!!

David R., Monday, 4 August 2008 16:54 (seventeen years ago)

It also features a Harvey Fierstein monologue about slacks.

David R., Monday, 4 August 2008 16:55 (seventeen years ago)

"so when you ask me if I've ever killed anyone..."

had to go with my sentimental favorite, safe men.

thanks, bro."

velko, Monday, 4 August 2008 17:32 (seventeen years ago)

Three dance-packed minutes of Rockwell as Barris:

I can't imagine why this was only an extra on the DVD.

lindseykai, Monday, 4 August 2008 21:59 (seventeen years ago)

Barris, tho the film dies after 20 mins. He's good in Jesse James too.

Dr Morbius, Tuesday, 5 August 2008 21:10 (seventeen years ago)

confessions is seriously flawed, but Rockwell owns.

He's making breakfast all the live-long day
He's got the action, re-action..."

Safe Men

Vaguely Threatening CAPTCHAs, Tuesday, 5 August 2008 23:08 (seventeen years ago)

We may as well have threads for Dennis Quaid, Bill Pullman and George Lazenby if we're really going to vote for BEST SAM ROCKWELL PERFORMANCE

admrl, Tuesday, 5 August 2008 23:11 (seventeen years ago)

It's a shame the universe is preventing you from righting this unfortunate wrong.

Haha, that was great! loved Stella for its charming stupidity...wish I had seen the live version....

Bo Jackson Overdrive, Tuesday, 5 August 2008 23:53 (seventeen years ago)

Also: he's really hot.

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Wednesday, 6 August 2008 00:15 (seventeen years ago)

i haven't seen many of these, but he made the character in box of moonlight more interesting and less gratingly twee than he could have/should have been.

tipsy mothra, Wednesday, 6 August 2008 00:51 (seventeen years ago)

(also a dennis quaid poll sounds like a good idea...)

tipsy mothra, Wednesday, 6 August 2008 00:52 (seventeen years ago)

Also: he's really hot.

S: the split he does during the Charlie's Angels credits

David R., Wednesday, 6 August 2008 01:12 (seventeen years ago)

GO would totally pull his groin halfway down.

David R., Wednesday, 6 August 2008 01:16 (seventeen years ago)

Especially in Lawn Dogs, where he's almost unbearably hot.

I hearts this dude. Where's his recognition?

VeronaInTheClub, Wednesday, 13 August 2008 00:39 (seventeen years ago)

seven months pass...

his acting was the only thing that made 'choke' watchable. that movie is such a letdown.
