So, I'm Driving from Boston to Stowe, VT this weekend...anything I should stop and see?

Due to JetBlue's continued efforts to devalue the JetBlue points program, the missus and I are forced to drive from Boston to Stowe, VT for a wedding...we wanted to fly direct from Long Beach to Burlington, but that shit would have cost ~1300...so we're arriving through Boston.

At any rate...are there anything that we should stop and see? We have a whole day while driving there on Thursday, and then another whole day driving back on Sunday.

Hook it up!

In Stowe itself, take the gondola up Mt. Mansfield (at the Stowe ski hill) and then scramble up the trail to the rocky summit. It's beautiful. Bring a sweater & some kind of waterproof jacket, in case the weather turns on you.

i think the old man of the mountain on cannon mountain collapsed a few years ago, otherwise i'd say stop there. but there are a ton of scenic overlooks in new hampshire, if it's a nice day just pull over and look at shit.
