Bradley would offer the handy combo of being an experienced domestic guy who left Washington by choice (and hence not an "insider"). But "the guy who campaigned on being the liberal alternative to Al Gore" isn't going to be a good hook..

then again, he's still not much of a liberal.

I can definitely picture him showing up in an Obama administration though, for the same reasons - seasoned pro, good resume, wouldn't be plucking a Democrat out of a needed legislative seat.
