Dr Morbius, Monday, 18 August 2008 13:17 (seventeen years ago)

what happened to Sam Nunn in my poll? he should be there.

gabbneb, Monday, 18 August 2008 15:08 (seventeen years ago)

the Veep is going to be one of the following: Biden, Bradley, Clinton, Gore, Nunn, C. Edwards, Kerry

wildcard possibilities: Hagel, Kerrey, Leach, Levin, Panetta, Roemer, Zinni

headfake improbabilities: Clark, Schweitzer, Sebelius, Warner, Webb

gabbneb, Monday, 18 August 2008 15:27 (seventeen years ago)

way out on a limb, i know

gabbneb, Monday, 18 August 2008 15:28 (seventeen years ago)

Biden, Bradley, Clinton, Gore, Nunn, C. Edwards, Kerry

Ugh. I guess Biden is the best of this bunch.

Maybe we should do away with the office of VP, anyway. What's it good for? We can have an alternate succession plan in case the President cannot serve.

Daniel, Esq., Monday, 18 August 2008 15:29 (seventeen years ago)

Bradley would offer the handy combo of being an experienced domestic guy who left Washington by choice (and hence not an "insider"). But "the guy who campaigned on being the liberal alternative to Al Gore" isn't going to be a good hook..

Doctor Casino, Monday, 18 August 2008 17:15 (seventeen years ago)

then again, he's still not much of a liberal.

Dr Morbius, Monday, 18 August 2008 17:16 (seventeen years ago)

I can definitely picture him showing up in an Obama administration though, for the same reasons - seasoned pro, good resume, wouldn't be plucking a Democrat out of a needed legislative seat.

Doctor Casino, Monday, 18 August 2008 17:17 (seventeen years ago)

headfake improbabilities: Clark, Schweitzer, Sebelius, Warner, Webb

i like bradley. my uncle played ball with him at princeton.

max, Monday, 18 August 2008 17:24 (seventeen years ago)

Bill voted for lots of contra aid during the Reagan years. He was in my path at the Port Authority Bus Terminal once with his hand extended once, and I left him hangin'.
But I did vote for him in the 2000 NY primary.

Dr Morbius, Monday, 18 August 2008 17:27 (seventeen years ago)

you sure showed him

max, Monday, 18 August 2008 17:30 (seventeen years ago)

hope you made your bus

max, Monday, 18 August 2008 17:30 (seventeen years ago)

Bradley will never run for fear of reliving this nightmarish experience

Obama/Farve.

Daniel, Esq., Monday, 18 August 2008 23:05 (seventeen years ago)

After stiffing Bill Bradley, Dr. Morbius then proceeded to board his bus and loudly and profanely rap until he was confronted by a nervous-looking man with a two-year-old daughter at his side, tightly clutching a bike bag.
