Looking for some suggestions of DVDs I could get my 7-year old nephew, who is absolutely nuts about cars & motorbikes and not much else. Don't want anything too dialogue heavy, cos he has a really hard time concentrating on that stuff. Basically it's gotta be lots of stuff going zoooom! and brrrrrrrm! and neeeeeoooooow! Any ideas?

Oh, and he has seen 'Cars' about a zillion times so we're trying to diversificationize him.
Montecarlo or Bust The Blues Brothers Maybe a bit young for the Gumball Rally or Smokey and the Bandit but give it time.

Speed Racer cartoons would probably be too clunky/old-fashioned, but you never know. Assume the Wachowski Bros. flick'll be on DVD before too long. 2nd the Herbie flicks, which I loved as a kid. Haven't see the Lohan remake.

The old herbie flicks are way way better than the lohan remake.
― Ed, Friday, 22 August 2008 17:11 (seventeen years ago)
didn't see the lohan remake but that sounds about right.

it sounds like there are cars inside the kids, and that the kids require special movies because of their condition.

Ah, yes forgot about the Herb, that's a great idea. Thanks for the suggestions so far.

the plot would probably go over his head but if all he's looking for are cars....

Don't remember if it has any cars, but would he like Inspector Gadget?

My niece and nephew liked Rat Race when that came out. I don't remember there being anything that bad in it that a 7 year old couldn't handle.

Besides it being REALLY STUPID.
