I suppose I can envision someone objecting to an imagined subtext that the Bush appointees aren't "real" women or people of color, because they don't share the same beliefs and ideology as the supposed majority of their demographic, so they don't count.

Anyway, Lorax; Obama was a community organizer, a State Senator and then an actual Senator. Which is experience. Also, experience isn't necessarily a good indication of in-office ability. Also, experience is such a vague, meaningless word that it qualifies less as an actual criticism and more as a partisan hack word you can use against any politician you don't want. Too much experience and he's a Washington Insider. Too little experience and he's too young to take office.

Also, neither Obama or McCain have any Executive Experience whatsoever.
