Another Woman gets my vote, but not by much. The rest are Love and Death played at 33 1/3 speed.

I have never watched any of these

― Shakey Mo Collier, Tuesday, 2 September 2008 16:50 (eighteen years ago)

Of the three, I admired Another Woman when I saw it (liked the Gena Rowlands performance, liked that not much happened), I thought that Interiors was better than its reputation but still kind of an unintentional Bergman parody, and I haven't seen September.

Interiors > AW > September

― Dr Morbius, Tuesday, 2 September 2008 16:55 (eighteen years ago)

AW has Gene Hackman, Martha Plimpton, John Houseman, and Sandy Dennis doing career-high work, around career-low Woody ideas like closeups of Rilkean black panthers behind bars.

― Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Tuesday, 2 September 2008 16:57 (eighteen years ago)

Hackman is great in AW, but not better than Maureen Stapleton in Interiors.

― Dr Morbius, Tuesday, 2 September 2008 16:59 (eighteen years ago)

You just love her red dress.

The results are correct. I can't choose between Another Woman and Interiors. Except I have the poster for Interiors.

I would like to watch Interiors with the sound off.

― Eazy, Thursday, 11 September 2008 19:30 (eighteen years ago)

or dubbed into Swedish

― Dr Morbius, Thursday, 11 September 2008 19:32 (eighteen years ago)

4 votes?? I'd have voted for Interiors, but why isn't 'Hannah and her Sisters' not included?

― baaderonixx, Friday, 12 September 2008 14:36 (eighteen years ago)

Hannah is "funny."

― Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Friday, 12 September 2008 14:39 (eighteen years ago)

Is it?

― baaderonixx, Friday, 12 September 2008 14:39 (eighteen years ago)

at least when Woody and Dianne Wiest are on screen. There's not a single (intentional) laugh in the three movies polled.

― Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Friday, 12 September 2008 14:42 (eighteen years ago)

When did this thread happen? I would have voted for Interiors, thus breaking the tie.

― Casuistry, Friday, 12 September 2008 16:04 (eighteen years ago)

uh Hannah and Her Sisters is totally funny

― Shakey Mo Collier, Friday, 12 September 2008 16:05 (eighteen years ago)

"you don't deserve Cole Porter"

― Shakey Mo Collier, Friday, 12 September 2008 16:06 (eighteen years ago)

"How the hell do I know why there were Nazis? I don't know how the can opener works!"

― Shakey Mo Collier, Friday, 12 September 2008 16:07 (eighteen years ago)

"Then at lunch she got drunker and drunker and finally she became Joan Collins"

― Shakey Mo Collier, Friday, 12 September 2008 16:08 (eighteen years ago)

I think there are scattered intentional laughs in Interiors, esp from M Stapleton.

― Dr Morbius, Friday, 12 September 2008 16:09 (eighteen years ago)

It's been a while since I watched, but I thought there were one or two.
