Did you tilt at it?

We have one on Wimbledon Common. It's nice! There's one in Brixton too, I believe, which actually powers over three acres of densely packed suburbia as well as providing the juice for all the fridegs on the front of the Brixton Fridge.

i think there are some near Cromer and Mundesley as well!

there are definitely some on the road to Gt yarmouth and also Lowestoft (tho these particular ones would be suffolk windmills)

I once saw a windmill while on a bus going through East Anglia. This was, however, in Cambridgeshire (the Cambridge-Huntingdon road) rather than Norfolk.

"Cambridgeshire Windmills" doesn't sound so good, does it?

what makes a windmill norfolk?

s1ocki (slutsky), Thursday, 28 July 2005 13:58 (twenty years ago)

I still prefer the Brixton one.

going down!

calzino, Thursday, 26 December 2019 11:15 (six years ago)

Wait, what if he means the fox had a baseball bat

Bojo Rabid (Noodle Vague), Thursday, 26 December 2019 11:33 (six years ago)

Suffice to say, when I was told “Jolyon Maugham is At It again,” this was not the outcome I’d pictured.

Jesus Christ

I'd be interested to know the RSPCA view of @lb_southwark advice/guidance that clubbing is the only legally permissible means of killing a fox. I've raised foxes with the council several times on behalf of constituents and this is their position.

This is an absolutely true newspaper story on Boxing Day, 2019. Not one part of this picture has been edited. God bless this country. pic.twitter.com/gjurph5B2I

The awful behaviour isn't surprising considering what an abysmal person he is, but boasting about it in a country where lots of good folk would probably put the welfare of foxes above asylum seekers was a bad move!

calzino, Thursday, 26 December 2019 14:00 (six years ago)

He should b killed with a baseball bat, piece of shit

not trying to virtue signal here. But 20 odd years ago when I lived near those Parkhill flats in Sheffield. Me and my partner once saved an injured pigeon from some predatory cats that were stalking it for an easy kill. We took it home in a cardboard box we'd found nearby and phoned the RSPCA - rather than battering the poor creature to death!

These days I'd probably just walk on tbh . but that is another story.
