What are you compulsive about ?

I got banned from using the internet at work today. I must admit it had gotten pretty out of hand, I always had a window on with ILM/ILE and I'd be on it practically every minute that I wasn't with a client, and it had started affecting my work. It's not that big a deal 'cause I only have a week and a half left to work there, but I'm pretty embarrassed, plus I'm gonna need good references for future jobs.

Anyway, do you have any compulsive behavior ? Have you ever kept on doing that same thing over and over even while knowing it was wrong, or could get you (or someone else in trouble) ? What consequences did you suffer ?

Compulsive with just about everything. Do it regardless of outcome. Affects me adversely in just about every possible way (though I THINK, in my old age, I'm getting a grip). And so it goes.

I am a Scorpio. Well the astrology books claims we Scorpios are prone to be obsessive about the things we like. Well, uh yeah, I am not a masochist. Anyhow I am obsessive about just about anything: food, music, film... It goes in ebs and flows. At the moment I am obsessed with myself. I have a mirror in front of me all the time. ;-)

Usually double-check front door is locked when leaving home; think this is coz I left it open once. Ditto zip being up.

I am very afraid that what has happened to Patrick will happen to me.

Also, this is a list of things I count: Stirs of the bath (10), seconds of watering for my plants (10 for lavender, 15 for geranium and basil, 20 for sunflowers), sheets of loo/lav/bog roll (5), seconds under the hand dryer at work (10 on each side), seconds of cold water per bowl of hot when doing the washing up (25) and more which I can't remember just now. I know this is weird and freakish behaviour.
