I didn't want anybody to think that this had been forgotten about!...So here are some new details!

1) The closing date for submission of tracks will be the 15th JUNE 2002.

2) Everyone who responded to the first thread will be e-mailed within the next week with details of how to submit their tracks.

3) People who have offered to create artwork/liner notes/ and etc. will also be contacted.

If anyone missed the first thread, feel free to post here if you want to contribute!

Okay...any ideas on distribution and pressing are also most welcome.

If i can finally finish a whole track until 15 june i would love to do it, bu it has to be mp3, i dont have a cd recorder and even if i had it it would take probably a month to arrive

have changed my mind and am now contributing EXACTLY WHAT GRAHAM SAID. you asked for it motherFUCKERS. "Frodo's lament" will be a recurring theme of the opus, building on the premise of him being weedy "oh the ring is so heavy Sam...." GANDALF THE WHITE!!! will of course appear as a one-off RIFF (the initial surprise of course descending into a kind of "crikey not Bignose sticking his hooter in again" kind of boredom). there will also be a sexually- charged "Pipping's theme" dedicated to Sarah, natch, and maybe even a cheeky steal of the "wash and go" advert if i can remember it, that i shall retitle "Aragorn's theme".
