anthony, Saturday, 6 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

hi Anthony, I feel your pain with the loneliness thing. So what have you been up to recently?

rainy, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

writing and writing.

anthony, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

would you like me to ask you some questions that a reporter asked me today?

rainy, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

yes i would

anthony, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

question one: "what is your favourite Sunday morning breakfast?"

rainy, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Brunch

anthony, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

"What is your dream holiday destination and why?"

by the way I'm sorry about these questions, they're a bit boring. I tried to be funny in some of my answers, so I'm sure I will come across as a complete moron.

You two. You are both puffs of grace, floatating in the breezy mix. Lets all get along with fruits. i see your eyes, your eyes are on faces! Lets all get along with x.

mike hanle y, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

unknown or illegal user, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

hey anthony! feeling lonely sux the big fat one. i was feeling lonely for a while, but it kinda resolved itself last night. i feel lonely when i'm feeling guilty - cos then i'm all self-loathing, and just wanna shit out all my badness. sometimes i feel lonely when i'm feeling helpless - all that "if only there was something i could've done, then i would've done it, and then things wouldn't be this way..." sometimes i just gotta remember not to be so hard on myself. anyhooo, all hugs to ya, and i hope you feel better real soon.

di, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

When Peter Frampton sang "Oh Baby I Love Your Way", did you dig it?

jel --, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

i didn't. needs more talking guitar.

di, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

you could try imagining you're in a movie about a lonely guy. it worked for me when i was lonely. that works also if someone is annoying you. you can imagine you're in a movie and someone's annoying you. i stole that idea off andy warhol. he says that after the person's annoyed you and you've been gracious cos it's all just a movie, like when the scene is over, then you find someone to blame and you never relent. well i never did that.

maryann, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

by the way, it works because then your emotions aren't real. but i think it would be pretty boring to do that all time. on the other hand, maybe it would be great.

maryann, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

what did shakespeare do, like when there was no movies? did he pretend he was in a play? just wouldn't work, because plays aren't 'cinema verite' enough. maybe that's why people are different now.

maryann, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

oh, i don't mean to dominate this thread, but you did say 'write to me'. another thing i do lately, is, I concentrate on my hair a lot. nothing can really go wrong with hair. or i mean, if it does, you can just wash it. maybe that wouldn't work if you didn't have much hair, but you could perhaps think about your shoes. i used to get to sleep by imagining the perfect shoes. that was based on my mother's suggestion when i was a kid that i 'imagine my birthday party' in order to fall asleep. of course, there's always tv as well. you might see some really cool shoes. these actually aren't very good suggestions. but i would feel pretty stupid offering a good suggestion.

maryann, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

imagining your birthday party would NEVER work. it'd make me too excited to sleep.

di, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Hmm, for some reason now I seem to be feeling lonelier than ever. Not quite in a black mood about it, but still...hmm.

Ned Raggett, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Cheer up everybody!

jel --, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

what is the big fat one?

mike hanle y, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

di's got the 10 & a half!

unknown or illegal user, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

kira's gonna be looking for that!

Ron, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

WHAT? i don't get it.

di, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

it's a black flag album, di

Ron, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

And more to the point, it involving comparisons of, um, size.

Ned Raggett, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

apparently henry rollins has the 1 1/2, which explains a lot

Ron, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

And hey, he said it himself.

Ned Raggett, Sunday, 7 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)
