Is anybody else hopelessly addicted to 24 at the moment? I can't quite get my head around the fact that it's going to be nearly FOUR months before all is resolved.

I think its closer to like 5 PM, but yes I lurv the show. The mother and daughter characters have gotten increasingly more annoying though. The daughter especially has become one of those cartoon babies that naively wanders into the most dangerous situations where everything goes to hell around her but she la-dee-da's about unscathed.

First sunday out since it started, so I've missed my Sunday night ritual. When's the repeat? I enjoyed the first ep, but it's just getting silly now isn't it? I love his little in-car scanner, like a regular optical scanner, but the size of a fag packet. oo, and switch it to magnetic and it can read swipe cards, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

I read mr tvgohome's col in the Guide this week and he alludes to bonkersness in last night's ep. Do tell!

Will the dad of the other girl turn out to be involved in this? And who thought to hire two slipknot fans to kidnap someone?

The dad of the other girl is DEAD! The guy who is with Mrs Bauer is an imposter. I couldn't quite see what the bonkers thing was last night and unless it happened in the first five minutes, which I missed, it wasn't as nuts as I thought it was going to be from Charlie Brooker's preview.

24 is THE SHOW. Best thing on television at the moment, even with all of its high-handed double-crossery. Wait until you guys get to 10 AM - noon!

I was up at 6am this morning for a wholly different reason.

It will be very interesting to watch it as a 24 hour marathon when the series finishes to see if the pacing actually works.
