which waxing option should i go for?

Leigh, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

*shudders* neither! keep your bush just as it is! no-one will think the worse of you for it! think of the PAIN...

katie, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I have heard that gentlemen prefer the Brazilian. I think you should get a Hitler-style tache. Or a clever shape e.g. lightning flash, heart etc.

Emma, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

What's a Hollywood wax?

(I think the Brazillian is one of the most unatractive things I have ever seen)

Anna, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Hollywood is the whole lot, innit?

Emma, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

For the benefit of gentlemen too unschooled to remember the difference, can we get uh definitional here?

Tom, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Latticework is always appreciated.

Dan Perry, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I have explained Hollywood. Brazilian leaves a little 'landing strip' (going vertically, in case you weren't sure). Classy stuff eh?

Emma, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Right, thankyou Emma. I knew what they were just not which way round.

Tom, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Nothing's left behind after a hollywood wax.

There's a salon about 5 minutes away from my office that will put on transfers and swarovski crystals (featured in last month's marie claire if i remember correctly).

the pain doesn't bother me, a couple of strong painkillers and a valium before hand do the trick.

Leigh, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Where did the different names come from?

Those stylish Brazilians, all razzmatazz and flair. eh....perhaps not.

Ronan, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

putting CRYSTALS on your BITS!?!??! *speechless*

katie, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

a pubic zirconium?

Alan Trewartha, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Wouldn't they snag your flimsy underwear? Do you have to wear special pants?

Emma, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Not that i'm planning to get the crystals applied (or a transfer come to mention it). They charge about £60 for that.

Something to set off my growing collection of naughty knicks is what i'm after, an elaborate design would detract too much.

Leigh, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Probably, no crystals for me - i'll probably wimp out and just get a bog standard one anyway. I've got such a boring hairstyle - i'd like to be a bit more creative elsewhere.

Leigh, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

How about a Borehamwood Wax?

Tom, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

but this surely only confuses things. when anthony next asks what women's bits look like, are we supposed to say "oh, and sometimes they have CRYSTALS on them"??

katie, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

or a birnam wood wax? [top macbeth joke: sadly i cannot work out the punchline]

mark s, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

It that the one that once they've waxed everything some kids bung the fuzz into a McDonalds and watch the manager chase the hair round the shop - finally killing it with a broom?

Pete, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

once they've waxed everything some kids bung the fuzz into a McDonalds

I was going to say something, but I've completely forgotten what it was. "Bung the fuzz" sounds like something rude done to a police officer.

Dan Perry, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

mark s: "out, damned fuzz"?

katie, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I wonder what a Kansas wax would look like. Probably a sub-divided square with each region groomed in a direction perpendicular to the regions adjacent...

Dan Perry, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Strangely i thing nobody knows what is a brazilian wax in brasil, including me

Chupa-Cabras, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Surely in Brazil they just call it a wax.

Dan Perry, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Romford Wax = shaving it into the shape of a Ford Escort

(This might be a lie)

DG, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

It's actually the shape of a Ford Pinto.

Dan Perry, Monday, 8 April 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

two months pass...
Leigh - my girlfriend wants to take the plunge - where do you recommend she gets her first brazilian done ?

Dante

Dante Kyan, Thursday, 27 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

four months pass...
Girls, can us guys get a hollywood or brazilian and do the girls appreciate their man with one? Just wondering if I should invest?

Andy Pain, Monday, 18 November 2002 20:48 (twenty-three years ago)

The Ghost of Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 19 January 2005 16:58 (twenty years ago)

Haha I wonder if a boy-Brazilian would errr visually lengthen, like wearing vertical stripes.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Wednesday, 19 January 2005 17:00 (twenty years ago)

I imagine the rate of return is pretty healthy!

Crop circles! Maybe a maze.

I'm thinking more along the lines of crop(crotch?)-rotation... more denser areas surrounded by more cultivated areas.
